«The School of Mentors»
A new episode of the program «The
School of Mentors»
was recorded at the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan. The program was dedicated to
Turkmen applied and decorative art and
was hosted by the director of department
Soyun Sahetgylyjov.
The director of department
Aygul Bekmiyeva talk about exquisite and beautiful carpets that are soul
of the people. In her speech, she talk in detail about elegance and beauty of
the Turkmen carpet, which is constantly being improved as the most beautiful
work of art of our cultural heritage. She noted that carpet products created by
long fingers of Turkmen women also decorate lives of our people.
The museum's
main art keeper Mahry Atdayeva introduced the uniqueness of gobelin art. She
told the story of gobelins, which have aroused great interest among Turkmen
artists since the 1970s. She revealed the compositional and decorative features
of this art, which is widely used in the practice of modern Turkmen artists.
She introduced the works of A. Hojaguliyev, V. Gyllyeva, and
K. Bayliyev, who are
widely known as masters of gobelin.
