“Melody of soul”
Dutar is an integral part of the centuries-old musical
culture of the Turkmen people. The bagshi have always been highly
respected among the people. This episode of the program “Melody of soul”,
recorded and broadcast by the Turkmen Ovazy TV channel was recorded at
the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan. The talk was conducted by Shohrat
Inerov, a student of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance and Selbiniyaz Atayeva,
a student of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture sang a song.
The Turkmen folk songs “My
dear”, “Dreamy”, “Have
a promise to you”, “Don’t be shy”, “Coming”,
“My love”, “From my heart” were performed. The participants of the talk
expressed their immense gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people,
Gahryman Arkadag, and Arkadagly Gahryman Serdar for the vast opportunities they create
for the development of Turkmen musical art.
