Exhibition «Horses Worthy of Praise»
Thanks to the tireless
efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag and our
esteemed President, solemn ceremonies are held in honour of our heavenly
horses, whose beauty, grace and speed amaze the world. Cultural and mass events
dedicated to the National Turkmen Horse Day, which
is annually widely celebrated in our country on the last Sunday of April,
are regularly organized. One of such festive events was the exhibition «Horses
Worthy of Praise». The exhibition was organized within the framework of the
creative competition jointly announced by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan,
the State Association «Turkmen Atlary», the Central Council of the Agrarian
Party of Turkmenistan and the editorial board of the newspaper «Edebiyat ve
Sungat» on the occasion of the National Turkmen Horse Day. A solemn ceremony
summing up the results of the competition was held at the Museum of Fine Arts
of Turkmenistan. The winners were awarded with certificates of honour and
memorable gifts. An exhibition reflecting the role of horses in art was also
organized.
