«Immortal Heroes of the Fatherland» exhibition
Our Fatherland, which follows the path of prosperity,
power and happiness based on unity, solidarity and trust, is moving towards the
heights of development. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Hero Arkadag and
Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the standard of living of our hardworking people is
growing day by day. Kindness, peacefulness, patriotism, humanism, courage and
bravery are the national traits of the Turkmen people, inherited from distant
ancestors. These are steadfast principles that have become the norm of life.
In 1941-1945,
which went down in world history as the most tragic and terrible period, our
brave heroes, firmly adhering to these sacred principles, stood in a single line
with the fraternal nations
and showed an example of courage and patriotism on the battlefield. They earned high honour of the young generation.
During these difficult years,
lasting 1418 days,
our brave grandfathers,
fearless heroes overcame many battles, creating a great school of courage
and heroism. In honor of the
Victory
Day, which marks peace, friendship and the significance of such
a heroic historical event, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in
Turkmenistan, together with the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan, organized
an exhibition «Immortal Heroes
of the Fatherland»,
dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The
exhibition presents artistic images of heroes who remained in the rear during
the difficult war years, images of
soldiers who fought bravely on the battlefields of
1941-1945, patriotic works of art that became a model school of devotion, created by people’s artists of
Turkmenistan, sculptors,
the best masters of native
fine art, and foreign painters. The military valor and courage of our brave
fathers – defenders
of the Motherland, in
the difficult
years of war, will
remain in our memory
forever, being reflected in
the works of Turkmen fine art.
We are infinitely
proud of our brave ancestors and
fearless fathers who earned eternal
glory
by preserving the peace
on the
earth and ensuring a
happy future for next generations! Glory to our heroes who made
a significant contribution to achieving the Great Victory!
