«Turkmenistan – the Land of Friendship and Brotherhood»
Pride in a happy life and devotion to the principles
of friendship and brotherhood are embodied in feelings that are deeply rooted
in the heart of every person. The task of art is not just to create beauty, but
also to spread it in the society. The Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan
organized international exhibition and online meeting of brotherhood states’ artists
called «Turkmenistan – the Land of Friendship and Brotherhood». The
purpose of the display is to develop friendly and fraternal relations, based on
universal values, through works of art. It is especially relevant in the
International Year of Peace and Trust. The exposition presents works of art
that reveal the ancient traditions of our people, based on peacefulness,
kindness, humanity and hospitality. Among the exhibits, along with the best
examples of fine art from Western Europe, are works by people’s artists of
Turkmenistan depicting countries of the world, as well as works by students of
the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, which embody the serene life in the
native country. Each work of art is a part of its time and history, appearing
to the viewer as a scene revealing the past. The pieces of art reflect the
